Enjoy a weekday morning hike through Grand Ridge Park with IATC’s Kim Ngo and learn more about how we partner with different organizations to conserve and advocate for the Issaquah Alps. We’ll rediscover the quiet beauty of Grand Ridge Trail, a popular multi-use trail, as we take in the landscape and wildlife that call this area home.
Trailhead: South Pond Entrance of Grand Ridge Trail, meet in the parking lot at the Issaquah Highlands Pickleball and Tennis Court in Central Park (drive past the main parking lot at Central Park and head up the hill past the roundabout).
Trails: Starting at South Pond TH, heading down and around Coal Mine Loop, connecting to East Fork Trail up to Grand Ridge Drive before returning to the pond.
Distance: ~3 miles
Duration: 2 hours
Elevation Gain: ~650 ft.
