Restoration Event with King County Parks at Big Tree Ridge Trailhead

Join the Issaquah Alps Trails Club and King County Parks as we kick off restoration efforts at Big Tree Ridge Trailhead. We will be removing invasive species, primarily blackberry bushes, to protect the forest and clear space to plant trees.

When and Where

Date & Time: Sunday, September 15, 2024, 9AM-12PM
Where: Big Tree Ridge TH @ Precipice Bottom Trail and Newport Way NW
Parking: Parking lot at the trailhead, just off Newport Way NW (18 spots)

What to Bring

Bring your own gloves if you have them. Please dress in layers and in clothing you don't mind getting dirty. Old denim is perfect to protect your skin from pricklies! Closed-toed shoes, long sleeves, and pants are recommended. Bring a full water bottle, warm drink, and snacks. Don't forget to bring your rain gear if rain is in the forecast.
