Our hike will begin at Harvey Manning Park and initially walk through the recently acquired Bergsma Property park land. We’ll then continue uphill on good trails to one of the Anti-Aircraft Peak covered shelters for our lunch stop. On our downhill return we will walk part of the Military Road ~ Issaquah’s original “super-highway”. This one-lane wagon road connected Issaquah to Newcastle and the train from there to Seattle.
