Join the Issaquah Alps Trails Club and King County Parks as we continue restoration efforts at Big Tree Ridge Trailhead. Last fall, we worked to remove invasive species, primarily blackberry bushes, to protect the forest and clear space to plant trees. At this event, we will be repopulating conifers in an alder-maple forest. We'll plant 150 mostly shade-tolerant trees including a mix of western redcedar, Douglas-fir, grand fir, Sitka spruce, and western white pine.
