Join Kai Dalton, WSU Forest Ecology & Management student and Newcastle Historical Society board member, for a hike to the DeLeo Wall viewpoint to learn about forest ecology. Kai grew up in Newcastle and is a public land advocate fighting for continued access to trails and open spaces in Cougar Mountain Regional Wildland Park and beyond.
Enjoy this morning stroll up to the DeLeo Wall viewpoint and along the Newcastle Highlands to learn about the human and natural history of the DeLeo Wall area.
