Wetlands of Tradition Plateau

Join City of Issaquah Urban Forest Supervisor Dan Hintz and Park Ranger Casey Shane to learn about the unique wetlands within Tradition Plateau on Tiger Mountain. The hike will cover why wetlands are critical ecological habitats, why forested wetlands are unique (and how they used to provide drinking water to early day Issaquah), identification of some common wetlands plant species, and an overview of amphibian habitat and monitoring in Round Lake.
