Come join City of Issaquah Park Ranger Casey Shane on a short family friendly group hike through Tradition Plateau’s Swamp and Big Tree trails. Learn about hiking basics and how to properly plan and prepare for your adventure. Discuss trail ethics and Leave No Trace principles. Explore a forest wetland on the Swamp Trail, visit the “Big Tree”, and learn about some common native wildlife and plant species of the Issaquah Alps.
