Call for Volunteers!

Looking to give back to your community? Join the City of Issaquah on this historic day to make magic happen at the Down Home 4th of July celebration. They are looking for volunteers to support the Kids & Pets Parade and Field of Fun! Volunteers must be at least 16 years or older and will need to complete a volunteer application (youth form or adult form) prior to the event.

Email Jared Behl at jaredb@issaquahwa.gov to sign up for one or more of the below shifts by June 28th. Play a role in making a community favorite event a success!

Kids & Pets Parade Volunteers

• Thursday, July 4th  | 10:00am – 12:00pm

• Duties: Help setup/decorate parade route, greet and direct parade participants, monitor parade route, assist with event takedown, encourage parade viewers to join us at Field of Fun.

Field of Fun Volunteers

• Thursday, July 4th  | 10:00am – 1:00pm - Shift 1

• Thursday, July 4th  |12:00pm – 3:00pm - Shift 2

• Duties: Help setup/decorate Field of Fun, direct ending parade participants, monitor lines for attractions, assist with event takedown.
