Join IATC's David Kappler on a hike around Lake Tradition Plateau to learn about the identification and special traits of native trees in the area. Given the leaves will be gone from the deciduous trees, other attributes will be used to identify those trees.

An identification chart for both deciduous and evergreen trees will be provided for learning, but feel free to bring along your own guide.

Elevation Gain: 500 feet; once up on the plateau from the trailhead, the route will be over fairly level ground on established trails.
