Become a volunteer Forest Steward with the City of Issaquah! Forest Stewards lead their own restoration events at local parks, bringing their diverse interests and skill to this important ongoing role. They work closely with Green Issaquah staff to help protect and maintain our forested parks and natural areas identified as part of the Green Issaquah Partnership. Our Forest Steward orientation provides training in the practice of ecological restoration and volunteer event management.

We encourage all those who are interested in participating in an ongoing volunteer role to attend. This event is in-person only. The speaking portion of this event will be recorded and posted online after the event. Orientation is free and open to the public.
