Hike Series: Big Trees of the Issaquah Alps

Join Paul Winterstein, a long-time resident of Squak Mountain, on a weekday afternoon hike to learn about an isolated Douglas Fir near the southeast summit of Squak Mountain and its role within the local environment.

This is the inaugural hike in IATC’s monthly Hike Series: Big Trees of the Issaquah Alps. Future dates and locations TBD.

Trailhead: 1062 Sunrise Pl, SW Issaquah, WA 98027
Note: There is no parking lot at this trailhead. You will be parking on the side of Sunrise Place SW.
Distance: 6 miles roundtrip
Duration: 3 hours Elevation Gain: ~2000 ft.
