We are honored to have Dr. Joey Hulbert back to join IATC for an informational afternoon hike and soil sample gathering. We will meet at E. Sunset Way Trailhead and hike along Tradition Plateau to the "Big Tree," which will allow us the opportunity to learn about Joey’s research and how to identify the health of trees and what different signs mean. This is an excellent chance to ask a scientist with deep knowledge of the forest your questions. Joey will teach us how to collect soil samples as we collect some on our hike. Joey will bring all the tools we need and once collected he will bring them back to his lab for testing.
