Celebrating Earth Day!

Join King County Forestry Expert Paul Fischer for a walk highlighting summer/fall 2023 tree-harvesting work at Taylor Mountain. He’ll share how this project and greaterforest stewardship plans for Taylor Mountain creates healthier forests that are more tolerant of warmer, drier weather brought on by climate change.

Date & Time: Apr. 22, 2023, 10 AM - 12 PM
Where: Meet at Taylor Mountain parking lot, located at SE 188th St and 276th Ave SE.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

The group will leave the parking lot at 10:10 am and caravan in cars on the main maintenance road. The gravel road is accessible for all vehicle types. From there, the forestry walk will be a 0.5-mile, roundtrip walk with minimal elevation change.
