Do you enjoy spending time in Issaquah’s forests and parks?

Want to learn more about your local forests?

Interest in making a tangible difference in your community?

Become a Forest Steward!

A Forest Steward is a volunteer that cares for a specific forested park in Issaquah. Stewards receive training and support to lead volunteering events, work in small groups, and on their own. Our virtual Forest Steward Orientation is the first step to becoming a steward. Join us to learn more about this program and how you can get involved.

All experience levels, abilities, and identities are welcome.

Issaquah’s parks are in need of stewards at several beautiful locations throughout the city. As a steward, you could spend time in nature while helping improve forest health.

This event is virtual. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

Green Issaquah Partnership Vision: A city with healthy forests that provide high-value habitat for wildlife and access for residents and visitors to experience nature, supported by an aware and engaged community that is working together to restore and care for these lands.
