The East Lake Sammamish Trail Near SE 62nd Reopens!

We love our urban trails, too, so we are excited to get the south end of the East Lake Sammamish trail back online after a closure of nearly 2 years! That stretch of the trail has been closed while the city has constructed the SE 62nd Street extension. Both road and trail are now open to traffic.

A great aspect of the new trail section is an underpass at the SE 62nd street intersection. No interminable wait for the “Walk” sign here. Thanks, City of Issaquah (and Costco)!
