High school seniors whose parents are member of the IATC are eligible for scholarships from $250 to $1000.  Seniors from Issaquah, Skyline, Liberty and Hazen high schools are also eligible.  Entrants must go on a hike or trail work party, write a 500-750 word essay about the experience, and email it to us by May 1st.

On Thurs Jan 26, IATC will host a panel discussion about plans for parks, trails and open spaces in and around the Issaquah Alps at the Train Depot, 78 1st Ave NE, Issaquah.   Panelists are from Issaquah Parks, King County Parks, State Parks, and DNR.   Social at 6:30 PM.   Panel Discussion at 7:00 PM.

The public is welcome.

Margaret Macleod was a longtime City of Issaquah park planner – passed peacefully on Dec. 26, 2013, after a courageous battle with metastatic lung cancer.
